Bus Hits Hillock, 20 Injured In Mayurbhanj

Mayurbhanj, Apr 8: In a tragic incident, as many as twenty persons were injured as a private bus crashed into a hillock near National Highway (NH-49) in Dwarasuni Ghat under Bangiriposhi police station in Mayurbhanj district this morning. 

According to the information, a private bus carrying more than 20 passengers was traveling from Angul to Murshidabad.

More than 20 labourers working in Angul were traveling back to their houses in Murshidabad. 

On being informed, Bangiriposhi police and firemen reached the spot rescued the injured passengers, and sent them to the Bangiriposhi Community Health Centre.

Further information into the matter is still awaited.
