Brother Drowns While Rescuing Older Brother In Jajpur

Jajpur, Apr 18: Two brothers went missing after drowning in the Kharasrota river at Jokadiya village under Jajpur road police station in Jajpur district this morning.

The two were identified as Saswat Swain (24) and Swastik Swain (21) of the same village in Sibananda Nagar near Ferrocrum Colony. 

According to the information, the duo had gone to the village to take a refreshing bath in the cold water when suddenly the elder brother Saswat slipped into the deep waters.

The younger brother Swastik came to the rescue of his older brother and drowned in the river. 

On receiving information, police reached the spot and called the fire brigade to carry out the rescue operation.
