Boudh, Feb 29: In a piece of shocking news, the body of a Junior Engineer (JE) working in the Water Resources Department was found hanging in his government quarters at Boudh on Wednesday evening.

The deceased has been identified as Pradeep Kumar Ghosh.

According to the reports, Pradeep attended a feast at his office yesterday afternoon. After the feast, he returned to his quarters and locked himself up.

His colleagues knocked on his door in the evening but he did not respond. They broke open the back door and found him dead. 

Pradeep's native is in Baripada, but he was staying in Irrigation colony in Boudh for his job. 

On being informed, police reached the spot and started an investigation into the matter. 

However, the reason behind his death is yet to be ascertained. 

The police are yet to make any statements in this connection.
