Bhubaneswar, Nov 29: Odisha forest department officials on Wednesday confirmed the presence of a black panther or melanistic leopard in the State.
In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF), Nodal, Susanta Nanda said, "On going camera trap tiger census in Odisha is throwing up some exciting & unexpected presence of wild fauna in our state."
