Bhubaneswar, Feb 24: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday criticized the alliance between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Congress in Delhi and four other states for the ensuing Lok Sabha polls.

BJP MP from Delhi Manoj Tiwari lashed out at Delhi CM and AAP convener, Arvind Kejriwal for forming an alliance with their arachrival  Congress.

"Kejriwal attacked the Congress time and again and removed it from power in Delhi, but now they are forming an alliance. The AAP doesn't care about the citizens; well -being and Both the parties have collaborated for their own benefits," he said.

The AAP and Congress today announced seat-sharing agreements in Delhi, Haryana, Gujarat, Chandigarh and Goa for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, likely to be held in April-May this year.

Addressing a press conference, Congress general secretary Mukul Wasnik said the  APP will contest four Lok Sabha seats in Delhi and the grand old party will contest from the remaining three seats of the national capital.

In Haryana, the Congress will field in nine Lok Sabha constituencies while one seat from Kurukshetra has been given to AAP, Wasnik said.

The Congress will contest from 24 seats in Gujarat while the AAP will field in Bhavnagar and Bharuch constituencies there, he added.
