New Delhi, Oct 8: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) appeared to form the government in Haryana for the third consecutive time as the saffron party is leading in 51 of the state’s 90 seats, according to the trends on Tuesday.
According to the latest data, the saffron party won in 13 seats and is leading 38 seats while the Congress secured 15 seats and leading in 20 seats.
Meanwhile, congratulations poured in for Union Education Minister and BJP's Haryana election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan as the saffron party is headed for a third straight term in Haryana.
The credit for this remarkable turnaround largely goes to PM Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s trusted lieutenant Dharmendra Pradhan.
Like in 2019, Pradhan yet again played a key role in managing the BJP’s poll strategy in Haryana, drawing up the party’s manifesto and overseeing daily operations.
Earlier this year, Pradhan orchestrated a historic win for the BJP in Odisha, defeating five-term BJD government.
