BJP Names Gautam Samantray As Its Candidate For Odisha's Jeypore Assembly Seat

Bhubaneswar, Apr 21: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday fielded Gautam Samantray as its candidate for Odisha's Jeypore assembly constituency.

Samantray will fight BJD's Indira Nanda and Congress' Tara Prasad Bahinipati in the prestigious constituency in Koraput district.

In 2019, the BJP leader had fought the elections from the same constituency and secured the third position with 21.41 per cent vote share.

Odisha will vote in the Lok Sabha elections and Assembly polls, which are being held simultaneously, in four phases. The polling will be held on May 13, 20, 25 and June 1.
