Bhubaneswar, Apr 17: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) moved the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) with a complaint that the BJD is misusing Mission Shakti women in its election campaign.

A team led by BJP State spokesperson Urmila Mohapatra met the CEO and submitted a petition in this regard.

The party mentioned that two officers named Binod Jena and Ambika Das have created a WhatsApp Group and are asking MBKs and CRPs to work for the BJD. BJD organisational secretary Pranab Prakash Das is a member of the group.  Stringent action should be taken against them, demanded the party.

Besides, the party too objected to photos found on OSRTC bus tickets. Alleging that the model code of conduct (MCC) is being violated, the party demanded appropriate action against the violation.
