BJD's 5th List For Assembly Polls Released; Naveen To Fight From Kantabanji

Bhubaneswar, Apr 17: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has announced the fifth list of candidates' names for assembly polls in 2024 on Wednesday.

BJD President and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will contest from the Kantabanji Constituency in Balangir. 

Barsha Singh Bariha to fight from Padampur. 

The BJD supremo has announced the names of 9 candidates in the fifth list.

Along with this, the supremo declared that the candidates of Sambalpur and Rairakhol has been swapped.

In the further change, Rohit Pujari to fight from Sambalpur and Prasanna Acharya to fight from Rairakhol.

  3. Padampur: Barsha Singh Bariha
  4. Kuchinda: Rajendra Chatria
  5. Deogarh: Arundhati Devi

  7. Nimapada: Dilip Nayak
  8. Sanakhemundi: Geetanjali Devi
  9. Jeypore: Indira Nanda

Earlier on April 12, the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has announced its fourth list of candidates.
