BJD Names Three More Candidates For Odisha Assembly Polls

Bhubaneswar, Apr 27: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) President and Odisha Chief Minister, Naveen Patnaik, through a video message on Saturday, declared the names of three more candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections in the State.

Begunia MLA Rajendra Sahoo will try his luck in Khordha assembly segment, while Pradeep Sahu will contest from Begunia and Gautam Buddha Das from Bhograi.

The BJD has so far declared the candidates for 144 out of the 147 assembly constituencies of the State.

The voting for the 147-member Odisha Assembly and 21 Lok Sabha constituencies in the State will be held in four phases on May 13, May 20, May 25 and June 1. The results will be announced on June 4.
