Bhubaneswar: Commissionerate Police Intensifies 'Safe City Drive', 84 Vehicles Seized

Bhubaneswar, July 11: The Commissionerate Police has intensified the 'Safe City Drive' to keep tabs on stolen vehicles, drunk drivers and criminals.

Police personnel have conducted blocking and checking in 26 different places across the Capital City, Wednesday night.

Twin City Police Commissioner, Sanjeeb Panda, has said that 84 vehicles have been seized in the process. Out of 84 vehicles, 12 bikes and a couple of cars were punctured by the police using spike barrier.

Panda also said that the police will recommend to the court to suspend the licenses of the drivers of the seized vehicles.
