Bhubaneswar: Bomb Attack At Winner Association In Saheed Nagar

Bhubaneswar, Nov 2: A bomb attack took place at the Winner Association in Saheed Nagar in Bhubaneswar, Friday, a day after a fight between two groups.

As per reports, three men, identified as Chinmay Mohanty, Pintu Sahoo and Bunny Behera, were smoking near Chandi Bhandar, Thursday. Some men passed comments on the trio, which led to a fight between two groups.

Later, 10 to 15 people attacked Chinmay, Pintu and Bunny. Pintu was reportedly severly injured in the attack. Later a complaint was registered in this connection at the Saheed Nagar Police Station.

On Friday, around 30 people, reportedly belong to same group, came on bikes and attacked with bombs outside the Winner Association. They also damaged some vehicles, stood near the Winner Association.

Saheed Nagar Police arrived at the scene and started investigation. The bomb attack damaged a Wagnor car, having the number plate of OD 05 BF 4275, as well as a bike and a Kia car.

Latest report says that Saheed Nagar Police have arrested the main accused Biswa Ranjan Biswal, aka Kanha, and his two associates. Police are actively searching for the others involved in the incident.
