Bhadrak: Commotion Erupted As MP's Hubby Embarks On ROB Inauguration Stage

Bhadrak, Feb 26: Tension prevailed at the Charampa railway station as a BJD leader tried to share the dais uninvited in place of MP Manjulata Mandal at the Rail Over-Bridge inauguration meeting, virtually attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi today.

According to the information, a stage was erected for the virtual inauguration of a railway over-bridge at Charampa police station.

While MP Manjulata Mandal was invited to grace the event, her husband Muktikant Mandal, a BJD leader, climbed up the stage. He was opposed by BJP leaders.

BJP leader Abhimanyu Sethi asked government officers, who were organisiing the event, as to how the BJD leader climbed up the stage without being invited. At this, Muktikant got infruiated. Following this, a heated argument ensued between the two leaders on the stage. Supporters of the two leaders, who were sitting below the stage, shouted 'Shri Ram' and 'Shri Jagannath'.

Buckling under pressure, Mandal had to disembark the stage.

However, the inauguration event was conducted very smoothly.
