Baripada, Feb 11: A junior engineer was arrested by Baripada town police on Saturday, for physically exploiting four women on the pretext of marriage in Baripada town of Mayurbhanj district.

According to the sources, Sukura Singh, a junior engineer in Rairangpur irrigation department had established physical relationship with four women in the same timespan.

He had allegedly promised all the women to marry and had sexual relationship with them after gaining their trust. 

The accused was caught by police after two of the women doubted him and lodged a complaint against him. Police investigated the matter and, on enquiry, found he sexually exploiting four women giving false hopes of marriage.  

He had also borrowed money from each of them on different occasions. 

The junior engineer was court forwarded today.
