Bhubaneswar, June 20: After more than two and half years international cricket will return to Odisha when the iconic Barabati Stadium in Cuttack plays host to the second ODI between India and England, February 9 next year.
Barabati last hosted an international game June 12, 2022 when India had played South Africa in a T20I. As far as ODI is concerned, the last 50-over international was played December 22, 2019 between India and West Indies. So it will be more than five years when Barabati will play host to an ODI.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Thursday announced the fixtures for the much-anticipated international home season of Team India for 2024-25.
The season will kick off September 19 with a two-match Test series against Bangladesh, followed by a three-match T20I series.
This will be followed by a riveting three-match Test series against New Zealand with the first match starting October 16 in Bengaluru.
