Banakalagi Niti Of Holy Trinity Today, Darshan Restricted For 6 Hours

Puri, May 8: The Banakalagi Niti ritual of Srimandir deities will be conducted today, for which darshan will remain closed for 6 hours from 6 PM to 12 PM, informed SJTA authorities.

The ritual will be performed after the second bhoga mandap of Mahaprabhu. During this period of time, no visitors will be allowed for the darshan of Lord Jagannath.

As per traditions, Datta Mohapatra Servitors Will adorn Lord Balabhadra, Goddess Subhadra and Lord Jagannath with sacred and traditional colours like green, red, saffron, black and white in the Banakalagi Niti.

After the completion of the ritual, Holy Trinity will be given ceremonial bath also known as 'Maha Snana', after which the door of the srimandir will open for devotees.
