Baliyatra 2023: Mesmerizing Sand Art And Tunnel Aquarium Woos Visitors

Cuttack, Nov 29: Historic Baliyatra has begun in the millenium city and various steps have been taken by the administration to make Balijatra unique this year.

Apart from Stalls, rides and food stalls, a 35-ft high and 100-ft wide sand sculpture of a boat coupled with colourful lighting and tunnel aquarium becomes the main attraction of the fair this year.

It has been built in the arena of ​​Cuttack in Cuttack. The sand is dotted with colorful lights. In the evening, these lights are lit up and make the sand art very attractive.

Crowds of spectators were seen near this sand art. Spectators gazed at the sand art and took photos and selfies. This unique piece of sand art has been created by sand sculptor Sudam Pradhan and ten of his associates.

The Cuttack in Cuttack pavilion this year is  prepared in a new way giving place to the village activities, cultural traditions etc. A village pond, temple, cow pit, how farming is done, mud houses, ovens etc. are also being highlighted in the pavilion.

Besides, other colourful cultural programmes add glitz and glamour to the eight-day extravaganza.
