Balasore, Apr 26: An under-trial prisoner died this morning in his cell at the Balasore jail under the Sadar police station limits.
The deceased has been identified as Naru Singh.
According to the information, Naru was in the prison for murdering his wife. This morning he complained of ill health and was admitted in the District headquarters Hospital at Balasore.

While undergoing treatment he succumbed.
The exact reason behind his death will be cleared after the post-mortem report is out.
