Balangir, Apr 16: The Tureikela police busted a gang of notorious motorcycle lifters informed Kantabanji Police SDPO Gourang Charan Sahu in a press meet on Monday.
According to the information, a bike robbery was reported in the Tureikela police station. Following the investigation, police arrested Abatar Putel of Chatuanaka village.
On interrogating him, his involvement in other bike robberies unfurled. Police was able to arrest Biju Kanda and Dilsaj Das and seize others bikes from their possession.
However, the main accused is till on a run and is yet to be nabbed.
