Bhubaneswar, Sept 21: Seven persons, arrested on the charge of beating an Army Major and his fiancee on the road in the Bharatpur area, were released on bail just four hours after the arrest.
They had allegedly beaten the Army Major and his fiance on the road on the intervening night of September 14 and 15. They were interrogated yesterday and arrested today by the Chandaka police.
According to the informaiton, they were produced in the JMFC court. They were granted bail.
