Social responsibility

At the same time, the Union Minister also reminded that we have to ensure that our society does not suffer in this journey and the responsibility for this is not just of the government but of society, industry and all of us.

He said that WAVES is being organised to take advantage of the immense potential in this sector and it is going to emerge as a big event in the future.

Sanjay Jaju, Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Neerja Shekhar, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Jyoti Vij, Director General, FICCI, Biren Ghosh, Vice Chairman, CII National Committee on Media & Entertainment were also among the dignitaries present at the event.
