Bhubaneswar, Jan 16: The Argus News, a leading TV channel in Odisha, will organise a health conclave titled ‘ODISHA HEALTH CONNECT SEASON 2’ here on January 20, officials said on Tuesday.

Several health experts and other dignitaries from across the country are scheduled to participate in the day-long event.

In the conclave, a wide range of discussion will be held on various aspects of the health services in the State.

"Over the years, Odisha has witnessed a gradual improvement in the health status of the population due to many factors. However, geographical inaccessibility, cultural barriers, ignorance of people, poverty, poor service quality, reliance on informal sector etc are few key features of the health ecosystem in the State," an organizer said.

“The conclave is an effort to unearth the challenges and concerns pertaining to the health care facilities in Odisha. It will chalk out a roadmap for healthcare in the State towards greater accessibility and affordability," he added.
