Bhubaneswar, Jan 20: It seems that not only Prime Minister Narendra Modi but also all of his cabinet colleagues love  Odisha and its language Odia.

It is so perceived from an occasion where Union Ayush and Ports, Shipping and Waterways Minister Sarbananda Sonowal started his speech uttering 'Jai Jagannath' thrice and wishing all those present at the event in Odia.

He was speaking at the Argus News' Odisha Health Connect Season 2 held here today.

He uttered 'Jai Jagannath' three times and Jai Shree Ram twice while starting his speech. He even said, "Mu Sabu Atithinku Namaskar Karuchhi' (I am offering Namaskar to all the guests present here).

Seeking pardon if he is pronouncing wrong, Sonowal translated the Odia line into Assamese and said the two languages sound the same and have uniformity to a big extent.

After giving a very valuable speech on healthcare, the Union Minister concluded his speech by thanking the guests in Odia and uttering Jai Jagannath twice.

"Apana Mo Katha Sunile, Apananku Dhanyabad' (You heard me, so I thank you all)," He said and uttered Jai Jagannath, Jai Jagannath, Jai Shree Ram and Jai Hind.
