Another Covid Postive Detected In Odisha; 3 Active Cases

Bhubaneswar, Dec 26: Another Covid positive patient has been identified in Odisha today. 

Within a span of just 20 days, three cases of Covid have been identified. The first case was detected on Saturday and the second case of Covid infection came on Sunday. 

After the patient was detected today, three active cases in Odisha have been reported by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. 

The JN.1 variant of Covid-19 is getting transmitted at a very fast pace. 63 cases have been reported in just one day. 

The maximum number of cases have been reported from Goa at 34. Following Goa are the states of Maharastra with 9 active cases, Karnataka with eight cases, Kerala with six cases, Tamil Nadu with four cases and Telengana with two people infected by the JN.1 variant. 

In the last 24 hours, 628 cases have been reported from all over India. The number of patients undergoing treatment has increased to 4,054.
