Bhubaneswar, Nov 17: Odisha Rajya Chalachitra Puraskar (Odisha State Cine Award) was given away to film personalities for three years- 2020 (32nd), 2021(33rd) and 2022(34th)- on Sunday. 

Governor Raghubir Das gave away awards in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Prativa Parida, Ministers and officers.

Noted writer, director, and dramatist Anant Mohapatra received the 'Mohan Sundardeba Goswami Puraskar, the highest-category award for the Year 2020. This award was conferred on noted Cameraman Shrinivas Mohapatra and noted comedian artist Jairam Samal for 2021 and 2022, respectively, for their lifetime contribution to the Odia film industry. 

'Saheed Raghu Sardar', produced by Dr. Bishwanath Patnaik, was adjudged the best film for 2020, while 'Prateekshya', produced by Anupam Patnaik, and 'Dalchini', produced by Atish Kumar Rout, were adjudged best films for 2021. 'Daman', produced by Deependra Samal was tagged as the best film for 2022. 

In the direction category, Rakesh Samal (For the film Romeo Jaja), Suresh Patnaik(Trushna), and Sudhansu Mohan Sahoo (Mayabi) received Best Director Awards for 2020, 2021 and 2022, respectively. 

While Debashish Patra (Saheed Raghu Sardar) and Amlan Das (Romeo Raja) were awarded as Best Lead Actors for 2020, Ankit Kumar (Bhoka) and Deepanwita Dashmohaptra (Prateekshya) received Best Lead Actor Awards for 2021. Babusan Mohapatra (Daman) was awared as Best Lead Actor for 2022.  

Similarly, Kabya Kiran Shukla (Saheed Raghu Sardar), Suryamayee Mohapatra (Dalchini) and Lopamudra Mishra (Boura Hatabaksa) were awarded as Best Lead Actress for 2020, 2021 and 2022, respectively.
