Amid Cold Spell, IMD Predicts Rainfall In Odisha For Next 4 Days

Bhubaneswar, Dec 18: Amid bone-chilling winter across Odisha, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday predicted light to moderate rainfall at several places in the State for the next four days.

In its latest bulletin, the IMD said that light rain is very likely to occur at one or two places in the districts of Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada and Puri till 8.30 AM on Thursday.

The weathermen also said shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at one or two places in the districts of Kandhamal , Kalahandi, Sundargarh during the period.

On December 19, light to moderate rain is very likely to occur at one or two places in the districts of Koraput, Malkangiri, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara.

Likewise, light to moderate rain is very likely to occur at a few places in the districts of Coastal Odisha on December 20.

On December 21, light rain is very likely to occur at one or two places in the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Kendrapara and Jagatsinghpur, the IMD predicted.
