50 Kg Ganja Seized, Peddler Arrested In Boudh

Boudh, Sept 16: Police seized 50 kg ganja (cannabis) and two cars and arrested a peddler during a raid at Murshindi in Boudh district early this morning. 

The arrested ganja trader has been identified as Jitendra Sahu, a resident of Similipal village under the Rairakhol area of Sambalpur district. 

According to information, a police team of Boudh police station intercepted the two cars after getting a tip-off about ganja transportation from a reliable source this morning. IIC Ranjit Kumar Muni led the team.

Police found cannabis-packed bags in both cars and seized the vehicles. 

Further investigation is underway.
