40 Heads Of Cattle Killed As Container Overturns In Subarnapur Village

Sonepur, Jan 22: While the entire nation is celebrating the consecration of Lord Ram Temple at Ayodhya, the death of as many as 40 heads of cattle in an accident in Subranapur district has disheartened the people of the region.

The accident occurred when the cattle were being illegally transported in a container truck when the vehicle overturned at Bishimunda chhack under the Sonepur police station limits. While 40 cows and bullocks were killed in the incident, a few others sustained critical injuries. 

Upon being informed, police reached the spot and seized the truck. 

Tension prevailed in the area for a few hours following the incident.
