Bhubaneswar, May 26: As per the updated data of the Election Commission, final voter turnout in the third-phase election in Odisha stood at 74.45 percent.
Polling was held for six Parliamentary constituencies and 42 Assembly seats yesterday.
While Sambalpur recorded highest polling of 79.50%, Keonjhar stood second at 78. 97%, followed by Dhenkanal at 78.01%, Puri at 74.43%, Cuttack at 71.20% and Bhubaneswar at 64.45% voting.
The Chief Electoral Officer, Odisha informed that the overall voter turnout excluded postal votes.
The fourth and final phase of the election in Odisha will be held on June 1. In the final phase, six PCs and 42 ACs will go to polls. Counting will be held on June 4.
