1 Dead, Several Injured After Head-On Collision Between Bus And Sand-Laden Truck

Angul, Apr 16: One passenger dead and four others sustained critical injuries after a bus collided head-on with a sand-laden truck at Jarpada intersection in Angul district this morning.

According to the information, the ill-fated Dolphin bus, which was on its way to Raipur-Bhubaneswar, collided head-on with a sand-laden truck at 3.30 am at the intersection near Jarpada police station.

In the mishap, bus driver died on spot and four passengers are critically injured.

However, more than 30 passengers travelling in the bus were narrowly escaped.

The injured person were admitted to the Angul district hospital for medical treatment.
