Puri, Apr 8: A private bus carrying over 30 passengers caught fire on the Puri-Bhubaneswar National Highway Tuesday. Fortunately, all passengers are safe.

According to reports, the incident took place when the bus was stationed near Malatipatpur bus stand.

Meanwhile, sparks emerged from the bus, quickly escalating into a massive fire. Police and fire services were alerted immediately.

Reportedly, fire tenders have been pressed in service to douse the flames.

Following the incident, several vehicles were seen stranded on both the sides of the National Highway.
