Bhubaneswar, Nov 20: The large-scale eviction drive — Operation Bulldozer — continued for the third consecutive day in Bhubaneswar’s Salia Sahi.
The joint squads comprising Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA), Commissionerate Police, and other line departments carried out demolitions in a peaceful and orderly manner since early morning.
According to officials, more than 400 houses have already
been demolished over the past two days. On Thursday, the teams focused on
clearing the remaining structures as part of the planned eviction process. The
drive is being executed with the support of five dedicated teams formed by BMC,
BDA, TPCODL, Fire Services, and Public Works Department (PWD).
